Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons has revealed he would be open to a return to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Ben Simmons has revealed Philadelphia is his preferred destination if ever traded, calling the city “a second home to me.”
In an interview Marc Spears of Andscape, the Brooklyn Nets guard shared his thoughts on a possible Philly return.
The 76ers drafted Simmons with the No. 1 pick in 2016. He averaged 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game over four seasons.
Speaking to Marc Spears, Simmons said:
“I’ll always have love for Philly. People always ask me like, ‘If you were to get traded again where you want it to be?’ I always say, ‘Just Philly.
"Philly is a second home to me.’ And in time, you learn and grow as people. I don’t really have anything bad to say about Philly. It was a crazy situation at the end, but it is what it is.”
