City Oilers continued their quest for a ninth straight National Basketball League title with a demolition job against Dmark Power in the National Basketball League on Friday.
The first 100-point game this season saw the eight-time defending champions win the game 106- 49 as they picked back-to-back wins.
It was the Fayed Bbaale show as he displayed an offensive masterclass notching 20 points, 6- 10 from behind the arc as well as three assists and four rebounds.
It was the perfect offensive night for the defending champions, as they had six players, all with double-digit scores.
City Oilers head coach Mande Juruni emphasised that the team is playing well as they prepare for the tougher Basket Africa League (BAL) next month in Cairo, Egypt.
"We have been training hard as we have tougher games outside the country; we need to be ready when the time comes,” Juruni says.
Dmark Power head coach Timothy Odek has urged the fans to stick with the team despite the disappointing loss.
"The fans should be able to have faith that the team is going to bounce back, which we will,” Odeke noted.
Dmark Power can get back to winning ways when they play Ndejje Angels on Saturday.
