Nigerian Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo details partnership with Damian Lillard.
The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 108-97 at the crypto.com Arena thanks in large part to the contributions of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, who were playing together for the first time as teammates.
The Bucks earned their second victory in three preseason games thanks to the combined 37 minutes of play from the two superstars, who both scored in double figures.
Lillard, who was acquired in a three-team trade from the Portland Trail Blazers, played 22 minutes and finished with 14 points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals.
Dame made 3-of-10 field goal attempts, including 2-of-7 from beyond the arc.
Despite playing for only 15 minutes, Giannis finished with 16 points on a scorching 7-10 field goal shooting night.
The Greek Freak also contributed two blocks, an assist, and eight boards.
Antetokounmpo only participated in the first half of the game, and Lillard was replaced at 4:41 of the third quarter with the Bucks leading 74-66.
