The Milwaukee Bucks have officially listed Greek-Nigerian star Giannis Sina Antetokounmpo as doubtful to play in Wednesday night's Game 2 against the Miami Heat.
Giannis Antetokounmpo suffered a lower-back contusion after he fell to the floor in the wake of a collation with Heat forward Kevin Love in Game 1 on Sunday.
Giannis in race against time for game 2
The Bucks lost the opener to Miami and Giannis was only able to play 11 minutes before the injury occurred.
Giannis was unable to practice on Tuesday but Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said the team was still feeling optimistic about the two-time MVP's ability to take to the court in Game 2.
"We have 24-plus hours before game time," Budenholzer said.
"He'll get treatment, we'll see how he feels. There's been a lot of progress and hopefully, there's more in the next day or so."
When asked about the next steps for Giannis in his recovery, Budenholxer said:
"It'll be everyday things that tell him what he can do.
"On the court, move a little bit, shoot a little bit, do some defensive things and he'll get ready for a basketball game, so we'll just see how the next day goes."

Big picture for Milwaukee
Having Giannis back will be absolutely vital for Milwaukee in game 2 if they are to stand a chance of wrestling control of the series.
Jimmy Butler was unbelievable in game 1 for Miami and he cannot be allowed the same space he had in that game. Giannis' defending and rebounding will be crucial.
