Barcelona Basket recorded an 87-79 victory against Gran Canaria in a matchday 29 Spanish basketball league fixture.
Barcelona put up 21 points in a dominant first quarter to take a seven-point lead.
Their offense continued to get into a rhythm in the second quarter as they put up 28 points stretching their advantage to 15 at the halftime break.
Gran Canaria bounced back with 26 points to take the third quarter reducing the deficit to single digits.
Both teams traded buckets in the fourth quarter as Barcelona held on for an eight-point victory.
James Nnaji shines for Barcelona again
Nigerian professional basketball player, James Nnaji was in action for Barcelona against Gran Canaria.
The 18-year-old bog man was given another opportunity from the bench by Barcelona Head Coach Šarūnas Jasikevičius.
As part of the second rotation, Nnaji featured for just nine minutes and contributed two points and two rebounds.
It was another impressive outing for the youngster after strong performances in the Clasico against Real Madrid and also against Granada.
Victory against Gran Canaria was the third straight for Barcelona in the league as they close in on another title.
