Jokic drops 53, shoves Suns owner as Booker and Durant tie series against Nuggets.

Following the Phoenix Suns' 129-124 victory over the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 early on Monday, May 8, 2023, the series is even at two games apiece thanks to outstanding performances from Devin Booker and Kevin Durant.

Both teams' offensive performances during the game, which featured All-NBA players at the top of their game, were outstanding.

After losing the first two games in Denver, Phoenix ultimately had more firepower and tied the Western Conference semifinal series at 2-2.

Jokic shoves Ishbia

Even the owner, Mat Ishbia, participated in some extracurricular activities, so there was a battle that spilled over to the sidelines.

Before the second quarter came to a close, Jokic became involved with Ishbia as he attempted to immediately restart play with the ball.

Ishbia had a ball under control in his courtside position. Jokic tried to snatch the ball from Ishian who was then pushed back into his seat.

Despite receiving an unsportsmanlike technical foul for the shove, Joki continued to play.

Suns tie series with Nuggets

Even the two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic, who scored 53 points on Sunday night, was unable to stop Booker, Durant, and the rest of the Phoenix Suns from going on a scoring spree.

Denver struggled to maintain control of the series despite the 11 assists from the two-time NBA champion.

Booker scored 34 points on 14 of 18 field goal attempts for the game, setting a playoff career high with 12 assists and grabbing seven rebounds.

The two Suns studs combined for 72 of the team's points as Durant scored 36 points on 11 of 19 shooting.

Now that both teams have won two games, the series will return to Denver for a crucial Game 5.

Since the home team has won each game thus far, the Nuggets should benefit because two of the potential last three games will be played in Denver.
