Nigeria's Josh Okogie hit some big shots down the stretch to propel the Phoenix Suns past the Golden State Warriors.

Due to a terrible shooting night, the Golden State Warriors lost 108-104 to the Phoenix Suns to start the 2023–24 season.

Starting guards Chris Paul and Andrew Wiggins combined for 0 of 9 three-pointers as they went 10-of-43 from beyond the arc.

At halftime, Golden State was behind by 15 points, but they overcame the gap with a 40-point third quarter.

Though they only managed to score 18 points in the fourth quarter, the Warriors eventually ran out of gas.

Golden State was paced by star point guard Stephen Curry, who scored 27 points despite shooting just 8 of 20 from the field and 4 of 14 from three-point range.
