Led by the outstanding performances of Bridget Aber, who recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds, and Aziida Nabayunga, who contributed 19 points and 12 rebounds.

The Mukono-based team extended their winning streak to six games, propelling them to the top of the league standings.

Expressing his satisfaction with his team's performance, Head Coach Nicholas Natuhereza acknowledged the victory but emphasized the potential for further improvement, stating, "We displayed commendable skills today and executed our game plan effectively, resulting in this victory,” Natuhereza said.

Nabisunsa Girls began the game with great enthusiasm but gradually lost momentum towards the end, scoring a mere 7 and 8 points in the final two quarters.

Head Coach Nelson Onyuta attributed the team's waning energy levels to their recent participation in the demanding national schools' championship held in Mbarara.

Despite the setback, Onyuta remained optimistic about the team's progress.

"We commenced the match on a high note, but due to limited squad depth, our stamina eventually diminished,” Onyuta noted.

“Nonetheless, we are determined to bounce back and regain our stride as we pursue the rest of the league,” he added.

Tamasha Nsubuga emerged as the leading scorer for Nabisunsa Girls, contributing 11 points and three rebounds.
