The JKL Lady Dolphins face off against the KIU Rangers in an exciting matchup in the National Basketball League at the MTN Lugogo Arena on Friday.

With two consecutive wins against university teams, the Nkumba Lady Marines (130-49) and the Kampala University Ladies basketball club (74-50), the Lady Dolphins are riding high and looking to extend their winning streak to three games.

The Lady Dolphins have had an impressive offensive showing this season, with Brenda Ekone (62), Hope Akello (59), and Leticia Awor (42) ranking among the league's top scorers.

However, both teams will need to improve their ball handling as JKL has averaged 21 turnovers per game while the Rangers have conceded 23 turnovers per game during their matches this season.

The Lady Dolphins have had a recent streak of success against the Rangers, winning their last three fixtures, including a dominating performance in their previous encounter with a score of 73-50.

However, after a mixed start to the season, the KIU Rangers will be looking to upset the Lady Dolphins with a win against the Angels Basketball Club (81-57) and a loss to the Miracle Ravens (57-51).

The Rangers will be relying on Ines Kanyamunza and Uwineza Ninette, who have been averaging four and three assists, respectively, this season.

The JKL Lady Dolphins, on the other hand, will be the favourites to win and extend their lead at the top of the table.

Overall, the match promises to be an exciting one, with the Lady Dolphins looking to continue their impressive form and the Rangers hoping to cause an upset and claim their first victory against the Lady Dolphins in four attempts.
