JT Lady Jaguars and the JKL Lady Dolphins face off in the National Basketball League on Friday with much more than bragging rights on the line.

With both teams expected to challenge for league honours this season, a meeting between the first and third in the table will only add to the intrigue this game will provide.

Wednesday night saw the Lady Jaguars lose their six-game winning streak to the KIU Rangers, 58-53, in a highly enthralling game at the YMCA grounds in Wandegeya.

Despite the defeat, head coach Sudi Ulanga says his side can bounce back with a win against the Lady Dolphins.

"We have got to learn from our mistakes in our last game and make sure we don't commit the same errors as the last game," Ulanga told Pulse Sports.

It will be a quick turnaround in fixtures for the table toppers, but their coach says they will approach the game differently.

"The game has to be approached differently like any other, but we will have adjustments from our last game which can hopefully get us the win,” Ulanga added.

The Lady Dolphins head into this encounter full of confidence as they have won their last five games and now hold the best record in the league at 6-1.

Ekone Brenda and Hope Akello will be the go-to players offensively, with both players averaging 17.3 PPG and 14 PPG, respectively.

Small forward Agatha Kamwada says that the team has been preparing in various aspects and is ready to win tomorrow's game.

The team has been doing both team and individual training and alot of work with the coaches and managers, and we are ready to try  to get the win", she told Pulse Sports.

The ability to win the battle on the boards will be so crucial in who will win the game, as Sarah Ageno and Becky Longom, both average 13 RPG and 14 RPG, have dominated the paint for the Lady Jaguars and contributed to most of their points.

Both teams are expected to field full-strength sides, as there is no injury news.

Beautiful basketball and intensity will be on a show for the country to see, as these sides will fight tooth and nail for the win.
