Coach Sudi Ulanga of JT Lady Jaguars has emphasised the importance of continually improving as a team despite their impressive start to the 2023 National Basketball League season

Coach Sudi Ulanga of JT Lady Jaguars has emphasised the importance of continually improving as a team despite their impressive start to the 2023 National Basketball League season.

Ulanga believes that the Lady Jaguars need to work on all aspects of their game, including their transition offense, which has been one of their strongest areas. "We have been able to win games but without playing winning basketball, there are so many aspects we need to get better at as a team,” Coach Ulanga told Pulse Sports.

Although the Lady Jaguars have been successful in their first six games, with wins against Nkumba Lady Marines(75-24), UCU Lady Canons(57-53), Nabisunsa Girls(66-64) and A1 Challenge(63-34),

Ulanga still believes that there is room for improvement. "Or man to man defense as well as our zone has to get better.” “But there is always a chance of improvement in sport," Ulanga added.

JT Lady Jaguars are eyeing a spot in the playoffs in their debut season, and Ulanga believes that continuously striving for improvement will help them achieve their goal. As he puts it; "We can always get better.”

Angels Basketball Club, have suffered back-to-back losses against KIU Rangers(81-57) and UCU Lady Canons(73-62).

Despite the slow start, Elizabeth Aguti and Ruth Diana stood out for the Angels with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
