The Lady Dolphins, last year's runners up, and the Lady Jaguars, season debutants, have won three straight games, taking their season record to 4-1, and are showing no signs of slowing down

The JT Lady Jaguars and the JKL Lady Dolphins are tied for first in the log standings.

The Lady Dolphins, last year's runners up, and the Lady Jaguars, season debutants, have won three straight games, taking their season record to 4-1, and are showing no signs of slowing down.

The Lady Jaguars secured victories over Nabisunsa Girls Basketball Club (66-64) and A1 Challenge (63-34) in their week's fixtures.

Meanwhile, the Lady Dolphins defeated the KIU Rangers in a comprehensive 70-49 win, leading to the dismissal of the Rangers' head coach, Roger Serunyigo, making him the first managerial casualty of the season.

Ruai Luak stepped up in the absence of Fayed Bbaale

The City Oilers, eight-time defending champions, have maintained their perfect start to the season with eight straight victories.

However, star point guard Fayed Bbaale suffered an unfortunate injury during their 87- 64 victory against the UCU Canons, but the team has found a way to cope without him.

Ruai Luak has stepped up to the plate in the last two games, leading the team in scoring with 22 points against the UCU Canons and 19 points against Our Saviour on 7-14 shooting.

While the Oilers hope for Bbaale's quick recovery ahead of the Basketball Africa League later this month, they have been given a nice cushion in the form of Luak.

Margaret Bagaala leads the league in points per game Margaret Bagaala of the Kampala University Ladies has been in phenomenal form over the past week.

She scored a season-high 47 points across both divisions during the team's 70-64 win over A1 Challenge.

With another impressive performance, she helped secure a second win in as many days against the Nkumba Lady Marines with a score of 60-54 while contributing 17 points.

Bagaala's impressive performances have taken her season average to 37.5 points per game, a remarkable feat for a player with a history in Netball.

Inconsistent start leads to KIU Rangers' Managerial Casualty

The KIU Rangers' inconsistent start to the season has led to the dismissal of their head coach, Roger Serunyigo, after a 1-2 record with defeats to JKL Lady Dolphins (70-49) and Miracle Ravens (57-51).

Serunyigo stepped down from his role as head coach, making him the first managerial casualty of the season.

However, the team bounced back with a win against in-form Magic Stormers (67-31) and will look forward to their next game against the UCU Lady Canons with renewed optimism.
