Nasser Ssrunjogi has bounced back as the Fuba President after the federation’s elective Annual General Meeting held Saturday at Hotel Africana.
Sserunjogi garnered 39 votes and beat Gordon Gumisiriza to retain the seat.
It is the second term for Sserunjogi, who took the president’s seat in 2019 after serving two terms as Vice President -Administration.
Racheal Atuhairwe Ainamasiko garnered 36 votes to beat Mariam Birungi to the Women Commissioner position.
There were only two contested slots in the election with the rest of the executive assuming their seats unopposed.
Hudson Ssegamwenge, Aggrey Mbonye and Arnold Katabi retained their offices as Vice President -Administration, Vice President -Finance and Vice President -Marketing respectively.
Patricia Ayebare and Mande Baker Kyambadde werealso unopposed on the posts of Youths Commissioner and Vice President -Technical and Competitions respectively.
