National Basketball League defending champions City Oilers were at their routine selves after a 72-63 victory over KIU Titans at the MTN Indoor Arena, Lugogo, on Friday.
The win made it five in succession for the nine-time champions, who are in search of a tenth consecutive championship.
City Oilers got into early groove and opened a 14-point lead after the first quarter with a 25-11 lead.
With the Titans fighting back late, they cut a 21-point difference (46-21) at halftime to 16 points in the third quarter (62-46) and nine points at full-time.
