At KIU Titans last season, Amisi averaged a decent 16 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, stamping himself as one of their best players.

National Basketball League finalists KIU Titans have confirmed moving separate ways with versed Forward Amisi Saidi alias Carmelo.

Carmelo spent last season with the Titans in their run to the NBL finals before eventually suffering defeat to champions City Oilers.

At KIU Titans last season, Amisi averaged a decent 16 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, stamping himself as one of their best players.

Meanwhile, the Titans have also agreed to separate with Carmelo's South Sudan compatriot Denis Bulungu as well as former skipper Joseph Chuma.

It should be noted that Chuma has been a stalwart and pillar in the KIU's setup for the past six years but will now trade elsewhere.

This is in addition to the duo of Innocent Ochera and Isaiah Ater Mabeny, who have also left the team.

KIU Titans are set to tip off their 2024 campaign against the Namuwongo Blazers on January 26.
