Playing in their debut season, the JT Lady Jaguars currently occupy the top position in the women's NBL standings.
With one game left in the regular season, the "White Jaguars" have a 17-4 record, with the team rated highly as one that could win the title.
Veteran shooting guard Moureen Amoding said the squad has massively grown during this campaign as they prepare for their first top-flight playoff run.
"There has been massive mental and physical growth in the team throughout this season from both the players and management," Amoding told Pulse Sports.
"The squad is very excited to be top at this moment; not many expected us to be in this position at the start of the season, but here we are, and there is more to come."
She added: "We have had our highs and lows this season, but there is plenty of more to come from this side; we are yet to hit our full gear, but we are getting there, and we will."
The JT Lady Jaguars face off against fellow title contenders KIU Rangers on Friday, looking to end their fairytale debut regular season on a high.
