NBA Precious Achiuwa: Nigerian NBA star shows off style in Paris
Nigerian NBA star Precious Achiuwa shows off his style in Paris.
In 2021, he established What If Unlimited in the United States with the goal of giving back to the areas he has lived and played in, all the while remembering his Nigerian heritage.
Achiuwa and What If Unlimited have made a summertime return to Port Harcourt, Nigeria, to conduct community development initiatives and youth camps.
Achiuwa has recently founded a new Nigerian NGO, What If Youth & Women Empowerment Initiative, in an effort to increase his level of community involvement in that country.
The What If Youth & Women Empowerment initiative, which focuses on granting access to youth sports, financial literacy, and career development, would get a boost from the grant money.
Through continuing in-country initiatives for women and children, the Nigerian extension will give Achiuwa a way to increase the effect of his work in Africa and give him access to particular financing options located in Africa, like grants like these.
Through a 3x grant multiplier structure, USADF and the NBPA Foundation will fund community-led initiatives as part of their partnership with Achiuwa.
By means of this arrangement, the NBPA Foundation and USADF will each donate $25,000 to What If Youth & Women Empowerment, matching Achiuwa's initial donation of $25,000. T
This results in a combined investment of $75,000 for the organization.
