Rezlife Saints, the underdogs of the National Basketball League (NBL), stunned everyone with an exhilarating overtime win over the formidable Ndejje Angels, 90-88.

The game was a true spectacle, with both teams playing their hearts out.

From tip off, it was evident that the Saints were in it to win it, taking an early lead in the first quarter, 27-22.

The fast-paced game saw both teams engaging in end-to-end action, providing an entertaining spectacle for the fans.

The Saints' Timothy Thok was the top scorer of the night, delivering an impressive performance with 23 points.

The Saints' capitalization on the Angels' turnovers was the key factor in their victory.

However, it wasn't just the Angels' mistakes that led to the Saints' win.

The Angels had a rocky start to the game, arriving late, which may have affected their initial plans for the game.

Despite this setback, the Angels managed to claw their way back into the game, and by halftime, the score was a close 46-44 in favour of the Saints.

The first half was marked by high scores and turnovers, with both teams exposing each other's defensive weaknesses.

The second half was equally intense, with the teams exchanging the lead several times.

The game was eventually tied at 77-77 at the end of regulation time, leading to a thrilling over time that Rezlife eventually won

Saints head coach, Daniel Juuko, was elated with his team's victory, expressing his satisfaction with their progress this season. "I am very happy that we finally got the win, we have been progressing nicely and it has finally paid off," he said after the game.

Ndejje Angels' head coach, John Omondi, acknowledged his team's mistakes, which led to their defeat, but was confident that they would learn from them and come back stronger. "We made some errors, but we will fix things and come back stronger in the next game," he said.

Ndejje University has now lost three games in a row and will be looking to bounce back when they face the defending champions, City Oilers over the weekend.

The Rezlife Saints, on the other hand, will be looking to build on their momentum and secure a second win in a row when they face Our Saviour on Saturday.

Overall, the game was a thrilling spectacle that showcased the best of NBL basketball.

It was a game that will be remembered for a long time, and the Saints will forever cherish their maiden win in the league.
