Ugandan champions City Oilers put up a dominant display as they beat Zimbabwe's JBC 84-71 in the second Elite 16 game on Wednesday at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Oilers' second victory in a row, followed Tuesday's battling 81-76 win over Madagascar's COSPN, ensured that they have become the first team to reach the semifinals of the competition.
Against JBC, it was near-dominion as the nine-time National Basketball League champions swept the quarters 22-20, 25-23, 20-17 and 19-09, respectively.
And head coach Mandy Juruni was left satisfied with the day's overall display.
"I am happy with the win, happy with the way we fought against a good shooting team, very good in transition, very good rebounding and very aggressive," he said after the victory.

BASKETBALL Road to BAL: [Watch] City Oilers make flying start to Elite 16 as they tame COSPN
The nine-time NBL champions dispatched off COSPN with an edgy but excellent 81-76 victory at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa.
"But the boys stepped up, and one thing I like about our team is we don't give up; we keep fighting, and that's what we did today."
Oilers' Petty Parrish stole the show as he put up 29 points, while Dane Miller added 14, with Germaine Roebuck supplementing with 12.
"In crucial times, we needed some big buckets that drew the difference, and at the end of the day, experience showed in the game," Juruni added.
"Tomorrow, we have a third game that will give us the first position if we win, so we shall rest and plan how to go about it."
City Oilers will yet again be in the fray on Thursday as they face more formidable opposition in Mozambique's Ferroviario da Beira.
