Offensively, Power began the game well with a 13-7 first quarter, with all signs indicating that the five-time champions would stroll to a win.
Emmanuel Emmanuel (14), Kur Garang (13) and Adut Mayer(10) all scored in double digits to help the Rockets get over the line for their first victory of the campaign.
Guellord Mobanza finished with a game-high 18 points in 33 minutes of action, but that wasn't enough as Power fell to their third defeat in a row.
