Roger Serunyigo has stepped down as head coach of the KIU Rangers following a mutual agreement between both parties.
This comes after the side started the season with a 1-2 record after defeats to Miracle Ravens(57- 51) and the JKL Lady Dolphins (70-49).
They find themselves seventh in the table with four points and are currently on a two-game losing streak.
They began the season with an 81- 57 win over Angels Basketball Club, but performances have dipped.
The Club announced that Joseph Chuma would be in charge of the team's affairs as the search for a new head coach becomes full gear.
Serunyigo was in charge of the team for several seasons, guiding them to a fourth-place finish in the National Basketball League last season.
Questions will be asked if relieving the coach of his duties early on in the season is a good decision, but only time will tell.
The Rangers face the reigning champions in the UCU Lady Canons in their next fixture.
