As well as extending their partnership, Curry was named president of Curry Brand, a move the company said will help him “drive athlete insights, product development, and strategic business and marketing endeavours.”

Big picture
This deal puts Curry in line for huge financial benefits. In an interview with Rolling Stone last year, he described it as potentially being worth up to $1 billion.
Deciding to tie up his sneaker rights and brand to one company for the remainder of his career is a huge deal in the grand scheme and Curry, one of the most popular athletes in the world, will surely receive a salary commensurate with that status.
The partnership between Golden State's Curry and Under Armour has helped lift the apparel company to a new level of success from when their relationship began in 2013.
