In a dominant performance that showcased the team's eight-time championship pedigree, the City Oilers defeated the UPDF Tomahawks with a commanding 87-53 victory in the National Basketball League on Sunday at Lugogo.

But the true standout of the game was Titus Lual, who put on a spectacular show with his 23 points and 13 rebounds.

He was earning another double-double that cemented his position as the league's frontrunner for MVP.

Despite high expectations upon joining the Oilers, Lual has exceeded all expectations with his consistently impressive performances throughout the season.

He currently leads the league in several key categories, including blocks (14), scoring (91), rebounds (68), and efficiency (140.0).

But Lual wasn't the only star player on the Oilers team that day. His long-time teammate, Fayed Baale, also played a critical role in the team's victory, scoring 19 points and providing six assists and four rebounds.

With 23 assists and 19 steals, Bbaale is also a top performer in the league, and his contributions are a testament to the growing importance of both players to the Oilers' success week by week.

Although the Tomahawks managed to take an early lead, the Oilers quickly took control of the game and dominated every quarter from then on, limiting their opponents to just nine points in the third quarter alone.

With the fourth quarter proving to be a breeze for the defending champions, the Oilers will now look to continue their impressive run.

They hope to make it seven wins in a row when they take on the UCU Canons in a highly anticipated rematch of last season's semi-final.

Overall, the City Oilers' victory was an impressive display of skill, teamwork, and determination, led by the undeniable talents of Titus Lual and Fayed Bbaale.

As the season progresses, fans can expect to see even more exciting performances from this formidable team. Results KIU Titans 89- 72 Ndejje Angels Namuwongo Blazers 89 -69 KCCA Panthers
