Senegal will be Uganda Gazelles’ second opponent, with the two sides set to face off next Sunday, July 29.
Uganda’s second opponent at this year’s FIBA Women’s Afrobasket, Senegal, has touched down in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of the tournament that starts next week.
The record champions of the competition arrived Friday night and will have six days to acclimatize to the environment before the tournament starts on July 28.
Senegal will be Uganda Gazelles’ second opponent, with the two sides set to face off next Sunday, July 29.

Jannon Otto stood out the most and conducted a scoring clinic, pouring in 29 points, most of which came from her trademark mid-range pull-up.
Uganda will play Mali in Group C’s first game on July 28 before taking on the 11-time champions at the BK Arena in Kigali.
The Gazelles qualified with a wild card from Zone Five and will be making their third appearance at the continental stage.

Claire Lamunu’s expected arrival on Saturday will complete the team’s 12-player roster for the finals.
Head coach Alberto Antuna and his charges are still training in Kampala and are only expected to fly out to Kigali on Wednesday, July 26.
