The UPDF Tomahawks are determined to end their recent slump when they face Our Savior in their upcoming fixture.

The UPDF Tomahawks are determined to end their recent slump when they face Our Savior in their upcoming fixture.

After losing their last two games to Ndejje University (66-62) and RezLife Saints (54-48), the Tomahawks currently find themselves in eighth place with a 3-5 record, far from the playoff ambitions they set for themselves at the start of the season.

Despite the setbacks, Forward Andrew Gang is confident that the team is in good spirits and ready to execute their game plan to secure a victory against Our Savior.

"The squad is ready to go tomorrow despite our setbacks in the previous games. We have been working on our game plan, and we plan on executing it," Gang told Pulse Sports.

One of the areas of weakness that teams have exploited in recent games is the Tomahawks' inability to stop the three-point attempts by their opponents.

"Not only have we worked on our defence better, but our offence has also been lacking in the last games, but we hope to improve on that as well," Gang added.

The Tomahawks will be relying on Arthur Wanyoto and the rest of the team to get back to their usual form and secure a win after a tough run of games.

In their upcoming fixture, they will face Our Savior, who has struggled this season with just one win in three games. In their last match, Our Savior lost to City Oilers (88-51).

However, Our Savior will be looking to capitalise on the Tomahawks' recent form and move up from the bottom of the table.

One player to watch on Our Savior's side is Moses Mugisha, averaging 14.3 points and 13.8 rebounds per game this season.

Overall, the upcoming fixture promises to be an exciting match as the Tomahawks look to bounce back and climb the table. "We're confident enough to win the game," Gang said, and the team will be hoping to secure a crucial win to boost their playoff ambitions.
