Wiggins has been unavailable for the Warriors since Feb. 13, taking time away from the team to attend to a family emergency.

On his return to the team, he spoke about his fitness levels, saying that his conditioning level is "not terrible," but "obviously the NBA is a different type of conditioning level that you need."

Wiggins' return to the team will offer the Dubs a huge boost as they have lacked his length, speed, and defensive intensity at times, during his absence.

Golden State are currently 42-38, with a road game against the Portland Trail Blazers coming up on Sunday.

They are sixth in the Western Conference, one game ahead of the seventh-place Los Angeles Lakers. If the Warriors beat the Blazers, they will earn automatic entry into the playoffs.

Kerr revealed that the team would take their time with Wiggins to make sure he is great shape for the postseason.

"We gotta make sure we build him up, get his strength and his conditioning in a good place before we put him out there, so he's not going to play in these last two games of the regular season," Kerr said.

"But he'll continue to work and he'll ramp it up pretty quickly."
