Joshua took to social media to issue a statement that has gone viral.
The statement by Joshua in a poem format talks about death.
He said, "Don't be afraid to die as you will always live on one way or another.
"In the sense. I am Anthony Joshua. But I am a make up of many past generations and I will be a part of my future generations to come one I create life and pass on.
"Physiologically I will die but if I create life I live on.
"When they say you are so much like your grandad or your grandma.
"You are them and if you knew your great great grand parents it'll be the same thing said."

This comes after Joshua teamed up with Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, a Nigerian disc jockey and producer better known by her stage name DJ Cuppy and daughter of Nigerian businessman Femi Otedola.
At the marriage of PrettyLittleThing's designer, Umar Kamani, Cuppy and Joshua teamed up in France.
The two celebrities, both of Nigerian heritage, were present at a four-day, £20 million extravaganza held at a five-star hotel.
The picture of Joshua and Cuppy that appeared in Vogue was taken on Thursday night's white theme.
On Friday, they went to the black-tie event, which was attended by special guest Mariah Carey.
Cuppy and Joshua have a long history together, and the boxer most recently went to her father's home in Monaco.
It is now anticipated that Joshua will make his ring comeback in September, facing potential opponents Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker.
