According to Tommy Fury, the undisputed fight against Usyk did not break down because of his brother.
English professional boxer and reality television personality Tommy Fury has given his perspective on the collapse of the undisputed heavyweight title fight.
English professional boxer Tyson Fury is the current WBC heavyweight boxing champion.
Ukrainian professional boxer Oleksandr Usyk is the reigning IBO, IBF, WBA, and WBO heavyweight boxing title holder.
Tommy Fury on undisputed fight collapse
Tommy is the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
He made an appearance on Soccer AM where he talked about his career in boxing.
There has been criticism of Tyson on social media following the collapse of the undisputed fight.
Tyson insisted that he would only accept the undisputed fight with Usyk on a 70/30 financial split.
Usyk accepted the demands of Fury but the negotiations between the two heavyweight champions broke down over splits on the rematch.
It was a unique opportunity for Usyk and Fury to make history as the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion since Lennox Lewis
Fury in the interview on Skysports explained that his brother is not to blame for the collapse of the undisputed fight.
He stated that Fury is not afraid of Usyk as he defeated the last Ukranian heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko as well as bounced back from a three-year absence to beat American boxing star, Deontay Wilder.
Tommy said, “The reason why this fight isn't getting made isn't down to Tyson at all.
"He wants to fight, he's proven to everybody. He doesn't fear any man, especially not a cruiserweight who can't do anything anyway.”
Tommy Fury on Jake Paul
Tommy defeated American social media personality and professional boxer Jake Paul in a mega battle fought in Saudi Arabia back in February.
During the interview, Tommy cast doubt on the possible rematch against Paul later this year.

He added, “I’m down for the rematch. I’ll fight him tomorrow, it’s not an issue.
“But does he want it now? I’m not so sure. He was the one barking up the hill, but I’m sitting on the top of that hill now. So it’s my call.”
“There’s a lot of meetings going on, but believe you me, the next fight I take, it will be bigger than Jake Paul.”
