The side's head coach Emmanuel Isaneez says his charges will do everything possible to seal the top spot, primarily because of the team's preparation over the months.
"Last season, we're able to expose at least 300 players to quality cricket, so the next edition will certainly be more competitive, giving players a chance to showcase more skills,” Ondeko told Pulse Sports.
The former Uganda Cricket Association CEO added: "We have invited a select team from Rwanda which will be part of the tournament with an overall aim of making the whole event more exciting.”

Uganda faced Namibia six times, four matches in the T20i and two in the ODI, but unfortunately lost all of them.
The Batball X tournament will attract six participating teams, five representing different regions in Uganda, and a Rwanda select team running from August 15th to 20th at Lugogo Cricket Oval and Jinja SS.
The Nile, North, Central, East and West are the regions set to be represented in the tournament.
