The local cricket governing body confirmed the trophy tour itinerary, including a visit to the state house with the President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the Parliament of Uganda.
Former Cricket Cranes captain Davis Karashani has revelled in the trophy coming to Uganda, stressing that it’s a massive inspiration for the next generation in Ugandan cricket.
“The trophy being here shows that the ICC recognizes that Uganda is a cricketing nation that has the pedigree and history to honourably be a host, which is a big win for the country,” Karashani told Pulse Sports.
“This will have a significant impact on the next generation; they will take inspiration from the sight of it at close range and within touching distance.
