Uganda won the toss and elected to bowl first, limiting Nigeria to 100/5 after 20 overs.
Everlyne Anyipo's 2(14) was supported by the trio of Consy Aweko, Irene Alumo and Stephanie Nampiina, who managed a wicket each.
Nigeria's Ester Sandy's half ton of 52(39), along with Lucky Peity's 27(37) and Eseigbe Favor 12(28), tried to lift the West African side but could only do as much.
In the chase, Kevin Awino (22) and Proscovia Alako (13) started slowly with an opening stand of 35 as Alako became the first wicket to drop after she was caught by Esther Sandy in the fifth over.
Janet Mbabazi 6(12) and Ritah Musamali 1(2) struggled to keep the Victoria Pearls afloat, but the extra effort from Immaculate Nakisuyi 31(20) and Stephanie Nampiina 20(22) delivered the holy grail for the team.
