Manchester City 115 alleged breaches saga is close to an end with the date for hearing and verdict set.
The infamous 115 charges levied against Manchester City by the Premier League are reportedly close to resolution as the date for the commencement of the hearing has been announced.
The Cityzens were accused of grossly transgressing the Premier League's financial fair play rules over an extended period from 2009–2018. The charges sum up to an incredible 115 and were filed in February 2023. Manchester City have vehemently denied all allegations.

More than a year later, the Cityzens have neither been acquitted nor sentenced, as the case continues to drag on. However, an end is in sight.

Questioned earlier in the year about the sluggishness of the case, Premier League head honcho Richard Masters revealed that a date for the hearing has been set for later in the year but refused to divulge specifics.
A report from the Times today has revealed the proposed date to be mid-to-late September. The independent commission is expected to start hearing the case next month, and the proceedings are scheduled to last for ten weeks. This means that the eagerly anticipated verdict will be reached in the early weeks of 2025.
It remains to be seen how many of the 115 charges the Premier League can make stick. Punishment will be determined by the number of alleged breaches the independent commission deems the champions guilty of.
