The Super Eagles striker was in fine form for his Serbian club and has reacted on his socials.

Crvena Zvezda hammered Čukarički 4-1 ahead of the UEFA Champions League play-off trip to northern Norway next week with Nigeria striker Peter Olayinka in fine form.

Olayinka was the star of the show after his fantastic brace to continue his fine start to the season for Zvezda in the Serbian League.

After helping the club to a comprehensive win at home to Novi Pazar when he kicked off the season with an assist, the 28-year-old finally superbly got off the mark with a brace on the road.

Both goals were scored in a blistering two first-half minute to hand Zvezda also known as Red Star Belgrade a comfortable lead heading into the break.

However, he looked destined to leave the club after just one season as reported by Pulse Sports but despite the window still open, he looks set to stay at the club.

While it is left to be seen if this form - two goals and an assist in just two matches - will convince his employers to hold tight to him, Red Star will be banking on their Nigerian superstar when they travel to Norway for the crucial Champions League qualifiers against Bodo/Glimt.
