Ademola Lookman — Atalanta vs AC Milan

CAF Player of the Year favourite Ademola Lookman will be back in action when his Atalanta side take on AC Milan in Serie A this weekend.

The Super Eagles forward has scored or assisted in more matches than not this season in Serie A, and given that he did not find the back of the net in Atalanta’s match against Roma, Lookman is due an important performance against AC Milan.

With seven goals and four assists in 11 games already, Lookman is one of the biggest threats that Atalanta possess and he could show it again against the Rossoneri.

Samuel Chukwueze — Atalanta vs AC Milan

Lookman will be up against compatriot Samuel Chukwueze, whose recent form for the Rossoneri has reinvigorated his chances of making good on his AC Milan career.

After criticism of his earlier form in the season, Chukwueze has started to show promise once again, especially in games where he starts.

The Nigerian forward scored twice in AC Milan’s recent 6–1 drubbing of Sassuolo in the Coppa Italia, and his pace could be vital for the Rossoneri to beat Atalanta’s high man-for-man press.

Fulham’s Alex Iwobi is in the form of his life after scoring five goals and providing three assists in the opening 14 games of the Premier League season.

Aina has been heralded as one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League and will have to prove this again when Nottongham Forest face Ruben Amorim’s side.

With Nigerian winger Moses Simon, Nantes can always have hope that they can go toe-to-toe with the best in Ligue 1.

Simon helped them secure a 1-1 draw away to the mighty PSG last game week, and the Super Eagles star will be in the lineup again, trying to help them record their first league win in 10 matches against Rennes.

The flying winger has already contributed three goals and four assists this season, topping both lists for Nantes players and will be their best weapon against Rennes this weekend.
