Arsenal currently lead the Premier League table, one point above Manchester City, but with the Cityzen having a game in hand against Tottenham, they could top the league standings going in to the final match of the season.
The Gunners will be hoping for a favour from Tottenham and there are several key Spurs players who could play a pivotal role in shaping the outcome of the title race. Here are five Tottenham players who have the potential to help Arsenal keep their lead Manchester City
Son Heung-Min
Son Heung-Min has been a thorn in Manchester City's side throughout his career in England, with an impressive record of 12 goal contributions (Eight goals and four assists) in 18 matches against them.
In the Premier League this season, Son has also been Tottenham’s biggest attacking threat, notching up 17 goals and 9 assists, and will be Spurs’ biggest threat against the Cityzens.
Christian Romero
Tottenham's defensive stalwart, Christian Romero, has earned praise from manager Ange Postecoglou for his attitude, with the Spurs boss asking that more of his players imitate the Argentine World Cup winner.
Known for being difficult to beat, Romero also poses a threat in the opposition box, particularly during set-piece situations where his aerial ability would be a handful for Manchester City. .
James Maddison
Despite enduring an injury-laden season with Tottenham, James Maddison has emerged as a creative force for Tottenham this season.
With eight assists in the Premier League, Maddison is only one behind Son and Brennan Johnson in terms of creating assists for his teammates. Maddison’s set-piece quality also poses a huge threat for Manchester City with the England international able to turn the tide with a well-taken freekick or corner kick.
Dejan Kulusevski
Dejan Kulusevski has proven to be a thorn in Manchester City's side since arriving in England, with three goals and two assists in just five matches against them. Even during spells of bad form, Kulusevski remains a consistent threat, capable of causing problems for City's defence.
The Swede has also been creatively dominant for Tottenham this season. Despite registering only three assists, Kulusevski has created 14 big chances, with only Son creating more.
Giovani Lo Celso
Giovani Lo Celso could also be Tottenham's wildcard against Manchester City despite being on the fringes of the first team.
Known for his ability to unlock defences with his creativity, Lo Celso has created more chances per 90 minutes than any other Tottenham midfielder except Maddison and he could play a crucial role in providing opportunities for his teammates against Manchester City.
