A Pulse Sports comprehensive preview of what is sure to be another exciting weekend of Premier League action.
The Premier League returns this weekend after the European distractions in midweek.
The title race is still on as Arsenal and Man City aim to continue their ongoing battle, while Newcastle, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Liverpool keep the top-four battle interesting.
The relegation fight is just as compelling as that squabble at the top as time seems to be running out for Southampton.
1. Aston Villa v Newcastle
Both sides are currently enjoying unbeaten runs in the Premier League with Newcastle winning their last five games and Unai Emery’s men on a 7-game unbeaten run, winning six of those games.
2. Chelsea v Brighton
Chelsea have failed to score in their last four games which is their worst run without a goal for 30 years. Brighton have not suffered a defeat in this fixture since September 2020.
3. Southampton v Crystal Palace
Southampton have won only one of their last 8 games in the Premier League and have only won once at home since September 2022. The Saints are rock bottom and must start putting a run of results together quickly.
4. Tottenham v Bournemouth
Tottenham are yet to lose at home in the Premier League since a 2-0 reverse to Arsenal in the North London derby. Bournemouth are fighting for their lives and have won 2 of their last 3
5. Manchester City vs Leicester City
Manchester City are in red-hot form with just one defeat in their last 17 matches, including 9 straight wins. The Champions have not lost at the Etihad Stadium since November 2022.
Five of the last nine meetings between these two sides have ended in a 1-0 scoreline.

CROSS FIRE: Who is a better player? Cesc Fabregas or Kevin De Bryune?
In this episode of Cross Fire, Tunde and Tosin argue who stands out between Cesc Fabregas and Kevin De Bruyne. Who's your money on?
6. West Ham v Arsenal
West Ham have beaten Arsenal just once in their last 10 meetings, with the Gunners winning 8 and the other ending in a draw. Mikel Arteta’s men will look to get their title push back on track after dropping points to Liverpool last weekend
7. Nottingham vs Manchester United
Nottingham Forest have won just one of their last 12 Premier League games. They have also failed to defeat Manchester United since a famous 2-1 win at Old Trafford in 1994.
Erik ten Hag’s men are heavy favourites. However, without Marcus Rashford they have struggled for goals but anythjng less than a win would be a hugely disappointing result.
