Former AFC Leopards striker reveals why he never made it in football during spell in England
Former AFC Leopards striker Raymond Omondi has explained why he never made it when he moved to England in a bid to launch his professional career.
Owino was involved in a long-drawn transfer saga before the two teams reached an agreement and has slotted in well at Leopards, featuring in their last five matches, a period in which Ingwe have conceded just twice while scoring seven times.
However, Leopards have gone two games without a win and take on a Rangers side that have lost their last four matches, which saw coach John Kamau relieved of his duties, but for Owino, it will be an opportunity to show them what they are missing as his side seek to add onto their woes.

Rooney and Levin used to play together at Wazito, and they are now reunited at Gor Mahia.

Levin Odhiambo: McKinstry tells new signing what to expect at Gor Mahia
Gor Mahia coach Johnathan McKinstry has explained what new signing Levin Odhiambo should expect at K’Ogalo, having joined from rivals Tusker FC this week.
Leopards conceded one of the quickest Premier League goals, when they went down 1-0 inside 26 seconds of last week’s encounter against Sofapaka, before recovering to secure a 1-1 draw, but wasted a number of chances to collect maximum points.
That came after losing their first game of the year, a 1-0 reverse to Tusker just before the international break, and they cannot ill afford another negative result.
