Albert Wesonga is no longer AFC Leopards interim CEO following the expiry of his contract.
Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) club AFC Leopards announced the departure of Acting CEO Albert Wesonga.
The decision, effective immediately, follows the expiration of Wesonga's contract, which had been in place on an interim basis since October of last year.
Wesonga assumed the role after the club dismissed former CEO Victor Bwibo.
Bwibo's removal was seen as a response to a period of disappointing performance for the Leopards, and Wesonga was entrusted with steering the club back on track.
While the club made strides under Wesonga's guidance, AFC Leopards has chosen to move in a different direction as they continue to pursue improved results in the 2023-24 season.
