AFCON 2023: Can the Super Eagles' defence deliver a fourth African title?
While Jose Peseiro’s imperfect squad management and his players’ suboptimal final-third execution leave much to be desired, the team’s defensive organisation stands them in good stead at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Osimhen's goal-scoring struggles

Nwabali defends Osimhen
While his performances have drawn criticism, his teammate and goalkeeper Nwabali has leaped to the striker's defense via Idiski Times.
I mean, come on, the striker scored a goal. He brought us back against Equatorial Guinea, and we could have won the game.
"The best striker in Africa, one of the best in the world, scored in one game and lifted the team.
"And how many goals has Sadio Mane scored?"
Mane and Osimhen are tied on one goal each but the tournament's top scorer is Equatorial Guinea's Emilio Nsue, who has shocked the continent with 5 well taken goals.
