Nigeria captain Ahmed Musa will make history should the Super Eagles defeat Ivory Coast in the AFCON 2023 final on Sunday.

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa and defender Kenneth Omeruo are potentially on the verge of making history as the first Nigerian footballers to ever win the AFCON twice.

Having been part of the 2013 AFCON winning squad, Musa and Omeruo will achieve a feat that has never been done in the history of Nigerian football.

Victory against the hosts Ivory Coast on Sunday will see the two veterans etch their names in history.
