Iwobi, Palhinha shine to help hardworking Fulham avoid defeat against Brighton
Fulham dug deep to come back from a goal down and earn a point against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.
The midfield bruiser was subject to a deadline day transfer to the Bundesliga giants last summer but said move fell through at the last minute because the Cottagers could not secure a replacement before the window shut.
Palhinha, 28, played 39 times in all competitions for Marco Silva's men in 2023-24, featuring 33 times in the Premier League for the West London team and continuing to show the consistency that attracted the deposed Bundesliga giant in the first place.

Despite the managerial change at the Allianz Arena with Vincent Kompany replacing Thomas Tuchel, Bayern have retained their interest in the Portugal international, and the Fulham man still desires the move.
“I can say that both clubs Fulham and Bayern know where I want to be in a month's time,” said the defensive midfielder. “What has to happen will happen.”
What comes next?
Palhinha, 28, is currently with Portugal’s squad at Euro 2024, with Roberto Martinez’s men facing Slovenia in the last 16 in Frankfurt for a place in the quarter-finals.
