URA FC captain and custodian Nafian Alionzi is back in contention with his club following his engagements with the Uganda Cranes in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
His return to the team comes at a time the Tax Collectors are gearing up to take on Soltilo Bright Stars FC in the Uganda Premier League on Saturday, intending to return to winning ways and awakening their indifferent season.
"We are aware we lost the last game against Busoga," Alionzi said to the media on Friday. "But, we have to change the situation," he noted
"It was a setback after a good run, and so we are focused on turning the tables around tomorrow," he added.
It's been an uncharacteristic season for the Taxmen, who have only won five in the league this season, having played 18 matches.
"We really want to get back to winning ways because that's where our happiness lies. Only when we are winning and happy that we can push forward."
"However, Bright Stars won't make it easy for us. They're a good team, but we're also good, resilient and have prepared well," Alionz added.
The Sam Timbe-coached side have lost five times and drawn on eight occasions overall, leaving them with 23 points in 10th on the 15-team log.
"Winning will be a huge boost. Four wins in five games is something we didn't do in the first round, so we are looking forward to tomorrow," added the Ugandan international.
The shot-stopper captained his side in the reverse fixture in October, in a game that ended two-all, at the Nakisunga Saza Grounds.
