FOOTBALL Aliro confirms Wakiso Giants exit

Following the expiry of his contract with Wakiso Giants FC, attacker Moses Aliro has confirmed he will not renew, announcing his departure.

The KCCA FC academy graduate made the revelation in his emotional farewell to the Purple Sharks.

"Thanks for the amazing two years shared together Wakiso Giants family," he confirmed on his social media platforms.

"I thank the board members, the fans and the president for the amazing support both in and out of the pitch. To the coaching staff and players,thanks for the guidance and love."

Aliro has been busy on the market looking for his next home, whilst yet to find one.

Over a week ago, along with now former teammate Sharif Kimbowa, he featured in trials for Young Africans SC, which didn't turn out well.

He's currently a subject of interest from four-time Uganda Premier League champions URA FC, who are keen on securing his services.

Aliro leaves Wakiso Giants after amassing 52 league appearances across two seasons, scoring 12 goals in the process.
