Express FC won the Uganda Premier League title in the 2021 campaign under Wasswa Bbosa; they also won their first-ever CECAFA Kagame Cup in the same year but have since struggled to regain the form.
The side, who finished 10th last season, has had administrative changes from former club chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka, who handed over the reins, brother Suubi Kiwanuka, and the new CEO Ashiraf Miiro, who replaced Isaac Mwesigwa.
The StarTimes Uganda Premier League is expected to get underway on 14th September.
