Superstar rapper Jay-Z is reportedly looking into the possibility of purchasing a Premier League club.
Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur could be set for a new owner if the latest reports are to be believed.
Tottenham long term ownership uncertain
This report comes after Spurs owner Joe Lewis pleaded not guilty to charges of insider trading.
Lewis, 86, who controls majority of the club, surrendered to the US authorities and appeared in court on Wednesday.
The situation has created tension, with questions being asked about the long-term ownership of the club.
Jay-Z to make bid for Tottenham?
According to the Express, hip-hop star and business mogul, Jay-Z, will be interested in making a play for Tottenham.
Jay-Z, already a joint-owner of NBA side Brooklyn Nets, is ready to lead a group of investors as they await the verdict of the charges against Lewis.
Tottenham are currently valued at around £2 billion but it remains to be seen whether the Lewis family will walk away from ownership, especially if the pressure mounts.
