Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has criticized the referee who officiated their Champions League semi-final match against Manchester City on Tuesday.
The Italian was not pleased by referee Artur Soares Dias, who did not monitor the VAR after the ball appeared to have gone over the touchline before City scored at Santiago Bernabeu.
Bernado Silva looked to have taken the ball out in the buildup before Kevin De Bruyne scored a brilliant goal to equalize for City.
The Real Madrid manager was yellow-carded instead for entering the field of play as he protested the decision to let the goal stand.
"The ball was off the pitch," said Ancelotti, as quoted by Sky Sports. "The technology said it. I don't understand why VAR didn't check it. The referee didn't pay attention to many things tonight."

"A good game, an interesting game," he added. "Difficult for us in the first half, but in the second half it was much better.
"They controlled possession in the first half, but we were in good control defensively, and when we started to play the ball, we created a lot of difficulties.
"You have to stay calm, you have to keep the position defensively; do not go crazy to press; stay there and play the low block, and when we had the opportunity, we scored the first goal," the former Chelsea manager concluded.
"[Vinicius Junior] is in a fantastic moment, but the team played well. I am satisfied with a good sensation about the game on Wednesday."
