It will be significant at both ends as title hunters Vipers SC visit the survival-seeking Onduparaka FC when the two lock-horns at the Greenlight Stadium on Friday.
Victory for the guests will take them to the top on 48 points, while a win for the hosts will take them to 18 points, lightening their slim chances of securing survival.
The Venoms are looking for a quick turnaround, following Tuesday's 1-0 defeat to Soltilo Bright Stars, while the Caterpillars want to build on their morale-boosting 2-2 draw off KCCA FC in their last match.
"We had a very strong run before Tuesday's result. So, we just want to continue with that," Vipers head coach Alex Isabirye told the club press ahead of the match.
"I know it won't be an easy game because we are coming up against a team fighting relegation but we need to respond strongly," he added.
"We have shown that we have the quality to respond, so let's focus on that tomorrow. It's how you respond that makes your season with three games to go."
Meanwhile skipper, Milton Karisa added on his gaffer's words, insisting that they have to bounce back at all costs.
"We know we have to respond. Losing on Tuesday was very hard to take. It is going to be very difficult, it’s a big challenge for us now but we are hungrier than ever to respond."
Vipers won the reverse fixture in the first round 4-0 at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, thanks to goals from Karisa, Bright Anukani, Karim Watambala and Ibrahim Orit.
They also have absolute dominion over this fixture since 2016/17 season when Onduparaka joined the top-flight.
The Venoms have eight victories, suffered defeat once while only three matches have ended in shared spoils.
