The young defender suffered the injury during the club's pre-season friendly defeat by Arsenal weeks after joining the Red Devils.
The 18-year-old, who joined United in a £59 million deal from Lille, was immediately substituted after sustaining the injury and was pictured on crutches days after. With Lisandro Martinez still recovering from international duty, the injury to Yoro leaves Erik ten Hag with limited options at the back as the 2024-25 campaign approaches.
According to The Mirror, United are likely to accelerate their pursuit of a new central defender following Yoro's injury, despite showing interest in Matthijs de Ligt and Jarrad Branthwaite, and with Raphael Varane having departed and Willy Kambwala joining Villarreal.
