I haven't been keeping up — Super Eagles forward skips Euro 2024 for runway
The Super Eagles forward revealed how he chose fashion over the ongoing Euro 2024 in Germany.
What Iwobi said
Speaking with Harvey Wood of Mixtape Madness, the former Arsenal player was asked which of his teammates had the best and worst music taste.
Iwobi revealed that Adarabioyo, before leaving, was the best, as he had the range to cater to everyone while in control of that dressing room music. For the worst, he seemingly tipped Bassey, whom he thought had a weird music taste.
“Okay, okay… Tosin was usually on the music so he could accommodate everyone; he had the best. I’m going to add him to the list but Calvin Bassey, man,” Iwobi said.
“I like his music sometimes but other times he’s playing some heavy drills. I’m thinking, bro, are you ready for football or ready to clamp a man down? I’m going to throw him under the bus here. In Fulham, it’s either one of the physios or it would have been Tosin Adarabioyo, but obviously, Tosin has now gone to Chelsea.
“I’m not sure who it’s going to be next season; you’ll have to stay tuned. In the Nigerian changing rooms, it’s Samuel Chukwueze who plays for AC Milan.”
