Two members of Argentina's World Cup winning squad have urged team captain Lionel Messi to join them at LaLiga side Real Betis
With Lionel Messi’s future still up for debate, Real Betis’ duo of German Pezzella and Guido Rodriguez have said they would receive the Paris Saint-Germain man with open arms if he decides to make a shock move to the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
Messi’s international teammates nudge him towards Real Betis move
Pezzella and Rodriguez have already played alongside Messi recently, winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, and the pair enjoyed the experience so much that they would be glad to play alongside the diminutive forward at the club level too.
Messi still needs to make a final decision on where his future lies when his current deal with PSG expires at the end of the current season, with the Argentine forward believed to be mulling over contract offers from Saudi Arabia as well as his former club Barcelona.
